More than 6,000 veterans took their lives in 2005 alone, according to a study by CBS News. Protest march in Oakland - Media did not show this...

Very large peaceful march of protestors upset about the execution by BART police. It only became violent much later..probably as the police provoked the crowd in the black "Storm Trooper" outfits and touting their steroid "don't care for civilians" attitude. The police in this country need a reality check. We are not "civilians" we are "citizens" and they are "public servants".

I cannot believe that the cops basically executed someone in lying down handcuffed in front of many witnesses! The police are basically out of control and some people say racist. The officer in question is using the "Tazer defense" which basically states that an officer mistakenly thinks the gun is a tazer. cops should not have guns. In England the cops have no guns and are very effective. I have seen the cops in England use psychological tactics in managing crowds and suspects.

Trans Texas Corridor Highway killed ( sort of )

Texas Dept of Transportation announced that the TTC project was terminated. (Even though they have been denying it's existence in the major media) Under public pressure against this project, Texas decided to stop construction. However, they are trying to revive it as a "Pay as you go" highway and building it in incremental steps. A big step to America losing it's sovereignty has been slowed down at least for now. If this highway would have been implemented, the North American Union would be at our doorsteps.
